Kew Primary School has successfully won a Telstra Kids Fund grant, one of 386 approved grassroots projects, and will receive $1,200 for the supply and installation of lighting to protect the CARE chairs from vandalism at night.

The animal carvings were made by Rob Bast as part of our school’s CARE program – our values program – and are known as our CARE chairs. They provide a special meeting place and play area for our students.

Telstra’s Kids Fund have helped boost children’s connections to their local communities for the past eleven years by providing improved facilities, programs and equipment to communities across Australia.
