Learning support
At Kew Primary School we are committed to ensuring that all students are engaged and are able to access learning at their point for need. As students have different starting points this means extra support or challenge may be needed to ensure that new and purposeful learning is accessible.
The Enrichment programme at Kew Primary School has a number of elements:

An Individual Education Plan with personalised learning goals including identified strategies for the classroom and at home
Participation in the Victorian High-Ability Program (VHAP) and the Victorian Challenge and Enrichment Series (VCES)
The Higher Abilities Practice leader supports teachers and students across the school to ensure the learning needs of higher ability students can be met

Close tracking and monitoring of each student to maximise learning outcomes
The Learning Tutor and Enrichment Teachers working together to best support the needs of students
