2024 NFL Flag National Championships

10 of our Kew Primary students went up to the Gold Coast to represent the school and our state at the National NFL Flag Championships. This is the first time our team has made it to this level of the competition, and only the second year Kew Primary has had an NFL Flags team. We are so proud that they won and get to represent Australia in Orlando, America!

The kids have shown dedication and commitment throughout the whole process. There have been early mornings, weekends and holiday training sessions…and the kids have shown up rain, hail or shine with a smile on their faces to train.

None of this would have not be possible without the amazing parent and coach Matt Ross. Matt has gone above and beyond to bring this opportunity to Kew Primary School and we cannot thank him enough for his unbelievable knowledge, skill and dedication to coaching this group of kids.

Win, lose or draw in America, we couldn’t be more proud of the kids.
